We want to inform future students about a recent change in Wisconsin law permitting online driver’s education. This will take effect June 1, 2016. Currently, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation has not established guidelines for this course. When they do, we will be announcing the online course availability.
Drivers’ Education of the Fox Cities will offer an online training course in lieu of in-person classroom education. While we will offer this training through our school, we feel it is in the student’s best interests to attend classroom training in person. Please be aware that this change affects only the classroom portion of the driver’s education program. Behind the Wheel training will be offered as part of the package Driver’s Education program.
We want to caution students that driver’s education companies from out of state and out of the Fox Cities area will also be offering an online course but may not be making the behind the wheel training readily available. Driver’s Education of the Fox Cities will provide the full program.
Our targeted start date is June 1, 2016. Cost for the online course and associated behind the wheel training has not yet been established. We will update this website with more information as it becomes available.
